Can a sister get a ‘HELL FUCKIN YEAH!’ For my buddy Scott, who protected a woman from her abusive ex! Scott was in the hospital for 8 days! The Asshat attacked him with a box cutter. Nose cut 3/4”, stabbed in the arm (16 stitches), the slash across his chest went through to his left lung puncturing it (30 staples)… He is much better now, but he has a lot of nerve damage across his chest and forearm where he was stabbed. He’s got a long way to go. Let’s see how many reblogs/RTs we can get for this BAMF!

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK EVERY PERSON WITH DYSCALCULIA NEEDS TO KNOW THIS.
ARE YOU FUCKING JOKING?! There’s a name for it, I’m not ‘just bad at math’, the numbers mix all up, and lose all meaning, and it took me ages to learn the basic skills, and I never could get past about a 7th or 8th grade math level, and you are telling me this is a learning disability?! Shouldn’t they be giving kids with it help? Like, seriously, I might have done better in school, all around, if I’d had help in the math area, without people treating me like I was dumb because I couldn’t do math easily, and things didn’t ‘click’ for me like everyone else. I could read at a college level, understanding the text as well, by the 5th grade (about age 11) but I couldn’t do multiplication or division, and still had issues adding and subtracting.
Thankfully, nowadays I have a keychain calculator and NO ONE stops me using it. “You can’t always use a calculator in the real world or college” bullshit.
This… This…. AMERICA! YOU SUCK AT TEACHING MATH!
Fuck that. When I have kids they are learning this this way and I say Screw what the teachers say. (I had teachers that would mark it wrong even if right if you didn’t solve it their way. Till my mom was all “No. as long as the answer is right you will not mark her down!”)
